A Great Night at Crooked Hammock

Good company, community connections, and a little time to unwind made the First Responders Takeover at Crooked Hammock Brewery on October 14 a special evening for the Raleigh Fire Foundation.

We enjoyed meeting guests, sharing the Foundation’s mission, and spending time with the people who came out to support us. Events like this give us a chance to connect beyond the station and introduce more people to our work supporting Raleigh’s firefighters, their families, and the community they serve.

A heartfelt thank-you goes to Madi and the entire Crooked Hammock team for welcoming us and making the evening possible. Their generosity and enthusiasm mean so much as we continue building the Foundation and creating opportunities to bring people together.

Thank you, too, to everyone who stopped by, made a purchase, donated, or took a moment to learn about the Foundation. Every conversation helps us grow.

We’re already looking forward to future events at Crooked Hammock—including the possibility of a firefighter cornhole tournament! Stay tuned as those plans develop.

Foundation board member Monica Boyd joined the Fit4Life staff to mark the occasion and celebrate a partnership rooted in caring for others.

As a growing nonprofit, support from local businesses helps us build the resources needed to carry our mission forward. Fit4Life’s contribution supports our work in member and family assistance, training, morale, and community outreach.

Thank you to the entire Fit4Life team for investing in the people behind the badge. We’re grateful to have you in our corner!
