Keri Warner

I have served with the Raleigh Fire Department as an Administrative Specialist since 2015, supporting professional development, department programs, special events, communications, and employee engagement. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to help coordinate ceremonies, fundraising efforts, community outreach, sporting events, and initiatives that celebrate and support Raleigh’s firefighters and their families.

As a founding member and President of the Raleigh Fire Foundation, I am passionate about creating meaningful opportunities to strengthen relationships between the Fire Department and the community it serves. I enjoy turning ideas into organized, successful projects and using communication, photography, and storytelling to highlight the people behind the badge.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our children, and our slightly chaotic collection of pets. I am honored to help lead the Foundation as we build something lasting, transparent, and beneficial for Raleigh’s fire service community.

My passion for the fire service has always been deeply rooted in my lifelong love for sports and teamwork.

Outside of duty, my goal is to foster an inclusive community where our brotherhood and sisterhood can stay active, build lasting memories, and represent the Raleigh Fire Department as a competitive force both on and off the field.

James Jones

I have been in the fire service for 24 years. I have served on several committees and groups over the years.

I love being the "voice" for the people.

I will be serving as the treasurer and I will do my very best to serve this committee to the best of my ability.

Rebecca Davis

Becky Davis is a founding board member of the Raleigh Fire Foundation who is passionate about supporting Raleigh’s fire service and the people behind it. Through her work with the Foundation, she helps advance initiatives that promote firefighter wellness and morale, community engagement, and continued investment in the Raleigh Fire Department. Becky is proud to be part of building an organization dedicated to making a positive and lasting impact.

Monica Boyd

Community Relations & Partnerships

My name is Monica Boyd, and I am an experienced community engagement leader with a strong record of advancing impactful initiatives, building meaningful partnerships and increasing organizational visibility. I am passionate about inspiring engagement through thoughtful outreach and data informed strategies. I hold a Master of Public Administration from Georgia Southern University.

I currently serve in the roles of Community Engagement, Recruiting, and PIO. I believe this role plays an important part in strengthening internal and external relationships, supporting recruitment and elevating the department’s presence in the community. My work has reinforced the importance of engagement for both public safety and first responders.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, cooking, painting, baking and creating memorable experiences with family and friends.

Brittany Rountree

Brittany Rountree is a founding board member of the Raleigh Fire Foundation and is committed to supporting the people, programs, and community initiatives of the Raleigh Fire Department. She brings a collaborative spirit and a genuine desire to help the Foundation build meaningful relationships, strengthen its community presence, and create lasting opportunities to support Raleigh’s firefighters and the community they serve.

Nick Lane

Operations

I am Nicholas "Nick" Lane.   I have been with City of Raleigh Fire Department for 26 years.  I am currently a Captain on L-1 C Shift.  I have been a Captain for 10 years now and have spent a majority of my career in the downtown/south east part of the city.  I come from a public service family with my both my parents and both my brothers being part of the public service fields.  I have been married to my beautiful bride Bingette for almost 20 years who is a Senior Firefighter with the Raleigh Fire Department.  We have two amazing children Kylie and Cooper.  I enjoy all kinds of sports, outdoor activities and spending as much time with my family as I can.  I am currently serving as the Operations member of the Foundations Board.
